Houston Livestock Show – March 2009

This year was Jonah and Micah’s first at the Houston Livestock Show (we didn’t attend the rodeo).  We attended the Swine Auction and then visited the livestock area.  The boys both had a great time!  We’re looking forward to next year!

The Swine Committee provides a breakfast during the day of the auction.  That’s Jonah in the background with Grandma Jean!

I had to take a photo of all the fried options… I’ve never seen so many!

I’d say we spent about 20 minutes playing on the tractors.  :)

Yes, chicken fried bacon.   Go figure.

Here’s the Swine auction!

The Grand Champion pig this year went for $130,000.  Wow!
