Jonah is fast approaching a “fully mobile” state. He has taken a few steps on his own more than once now. The funny thing is how fiercely independent the kid seems to be! We’ve tried helping him by letting him hold onto our fingers or hands. He wants NOTHING to do with that. He will lift up his legs (thinking you are going to pick him up), or he will pull away, yell, and usually fall down (leading to more fussing).

He’s fearless in his attempts. At times, he will almost LEAP away from the couch or coffee table in an attempt to reach Mom, Dad, or toy. In his mind, he seems to think he “knows” how to walk already. . .it’s just his legs and feet that are not cooperating!
