We were out shopping today at Lowes (we were there because we decided to paint the family room — be afraid! — I’ll post pictures once we finish) and Steph received a compliment from someone about her hair. Her hair isn’t blonde or brunette. It’s “dishwater blonde” — a term I heard all the time growing up in East Texas. I’m not sure why, but I don’t hear that term very often these days. Maybe it’s a Texas thing. Maybe it’s gone out of style. Maybe “dishwater” is offensive. I, however, think it’s cute…
