Where have I been? Disney! Our niece flew into town and spent a few nights at our place in Melbourne — then we loaded up the vehicle and headed off to Disney World. Because she had never been to Disney World, we decided Magic Kingdom would be the best place to visit given our schedule (we were only going to be there a few days). The day we were at Magic Kingdom, we arrived in the park at 9:30am and didn’t make it back to Port Orleans until 11:15pm — we were exhausted! I can only imagine how visitors can manage that for 5-7 days straight.

While Stephanie and her niece were running around shopping, I was assigned the duty of holding a spot for the “SpectroMagic” parade. The catch is that in order to have a good seat/view, you have to claim a spot about 2 hours in advance. So, I started guarding our little plot of Disney around 6:45pm for the 9:00pm (but what a spot it was!). Luckily, I knew I was going to be assigned guard duty, so I brought a book and relaxed.
