Ahhh… Saturday! Today was a day of relaxation. It was overcast here all day (it rained all of Friday night and into saturday morning), so it was just a slow day over all.

This evening Stephanie and I went to see some of her kids in Rockledge High School’s production of Grease. She really enjoyed seeing her kids doing a great job. The performance was actually held at Merritt Island High School because of logistical issues, but despite the longer drive it worked out well because there’s a Marble Slab Creamery in Merritt Island! You just don’t have that sort of thing in Melbourne.

But back to the musical — Of the 15-18 actors, Stephanie has 9 in her French classes, so in addition to wanting to be there, she felt as though she had an obligation to support her students. And heck, I had fun too.

And, I’m feeling better. I think my allergies have subsided for the most part. Sure, there’s the slight stuffy nose and mildy sore throat, but it’s much better than catching any of the other things floating around the world these days!
